hi i have vw sharan 2009 diesel it start but after a few minute will stop again and then wont start then you have to leave it for a while then start again

I have a vw touran and while driving from work the EPC light indicator came on. When I got home I switched off the engine and try to start it again but it wouldn't come up. After aboht 30min I tried again and the car came up but the EPC LIGHT is still. Pls what can I do. Any one with an idea please. Thanks 10 Answers
