wheels or brakes

front wheel just started sqeaking stops when brake
is apply starts back again wjen brake is released

Hard to say without hearing it, but I think it's more likely to be brake related. Sounds like you may have picked up a stone or something that has got caught around the pad/calliper or behind the disc backplate. If in doubt get it checked by a garage... It never pays to take a chance with brakes!
