it is a corsa DTI 2003 model. i had a service done now am leaking something,
i had it working and we noticed a foul eggy smell, today she wont start, i tried
to connect the battery charger to the battery it sparked really bad, also whilst i
was trying to start it my husband noticed smoke coming from around the
battery any ideas?
Lucky it didn't catch fire, what you are smelling is hydrogen sulfide from the battery which is called out-gassing. That is what causes the terminals to turn white. Replace the old battery ASAP.
