What is the problem?my automatic gearbox is slipping from 2-3 gear

what are the provlems associated with these symptoms....the car is a 2004 seat alhambra 1.9tdi... pleasehelp and thank you

Slipping usually means the clutches in the transmission are burnt and worn. You can try replacing the fluid with new fluid and see if it helps, but no guarentees it will work. I suspect your looking at a transmssion rebuild. Have a local transmission mechanic or someone you trust to take a look at it.

how difficult is it to replace the clutches? i had a feeling it was the damn clutches..... do they come as a kit?thewhole set? im trying to diy it but i dont know how difficult the job is! sorry for poor typing im on a pc with half the keys falling off
