Car is blowing smoke.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I have been idling fo more than 20 seconds it blows
light grey smoke when I move on. Any assistance would be
great.

Sounds like valve seals or rings in the engine. So your burning oil, check the oil level every week to keep it topped off. You could go for a long time like this. No need to put a lot of money into a '92 Toyota.

Your engine is getting old- just drive it for another 100 years- unless you are concerned about ruining the catalytic converter- and the planet's atmosphere-
