Renault says 224km/h for clio 172 too. However, I saw 250km/h on my speed indicator
The above are correct as far as the 'Stated Official Top speed' however it depends on the condition and how much it has been spanked in its life. You could 'up' the output and top speed by having the chip remapped, fitting an induction kit and fitting larger nozzle injectors, however this must all be done by professional tuners as overfuelling can damage the catalytic converter.
To Okan: Speedometers in cars nearly always read slightly more than what the actual speed is. Hence why GPS is used for actual speed runs.
