What causes my renault sandero 1.6 united to cut off while I`m driving

The service has been done but it cuts off and if I take off the coil wire out and plug it back on the car will start and drive until it does it again. It does not do it all the time it sometimes does it after 2 or 3 days.It has new plugs new oil filter new oil new air filter.What can be the problem

Hi Ellias, tricky to know what this could be as these Renault engines do seem to have a little bit of a reputation for running problems. It could be related to the crank position sensor, idle control valve and/or sensor, the throttle position sensor or the coil packs. As it seems to get better when you remove the wire from the coil I would suspect it's the coil at fault. I'd start there and see what happens. Either that or take it to a specialist for further diagnosis. Good luck, Bob

Have the same problem especially at stops/ yielding or speed humps and mostly when driving slowly
