Radiator fans

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi I have a 2009 vw Passat cc 3.6 v6 4motion with a idle
and fan issue?? It started off that occasionally the radiator
fans would come on and the idle would rise to 1100rpm
when stopped at a junction after a run on duel
carriageway/motorway etc but got more frequent so
would happen more often even on short journeys on a/b
roads etc but now happens nearly every time you start
engine!!!  temperature gauge is as always been, never
goes above 90*, not fault codes stored!!! I’ve changed the
coolant temperature sensor but still same!!!
