Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

Hi, I am currently pregnant, I own a 2014 ford fiesta 3 dr car. Because I am
expecting twins I need a 5 dr for practicality. I was hoping to trade my car in.
It has less than 27k mileage, and it's in good condition. Car Guru said it
could get £6,993 but I'd sell it for £6,500. Has anyone got experience trading
in a car, then paying the remainder on a cheap payment plan (maternity pay
in the UK isn't cracking) Appreciate all the help I can get really as I am a
complete newbie in this. Thank you.

Trading your car into a Main Dealer, you won't get what you want for it ie £6,500, they will most likely give you the lower end market value, it depends on what you want ?

Hmm, listen to your dad. He knows everything!

If you part ex your car the dealer will expect to sell it on to someone who will want to make a profit. The more effort you put into selling your car the more you can expect to get for itadvertise it on here, other car sites, facebook put a notice in the car window whenever it is parked. you are only looking for a small extra amount on finance so there is no attraction for a dealer to have a big kickback from the finance company. fortunately my name is hidden because I shouldn't be telling you this.
