I have a Toyota Landcruiser Prado VX 2004. It is produced for United Nation missions and I think it doesn't have a catalyst.
I want to bring and register this Toyota Prado in France, but I am not sure if it
will pasty technical control due to CO2 emition and due to not having catalyst.
Does anyone know anything?
Hi BlueDiamond, I'm afraid I'm not all that sure about what can and can't be imported into France and registered there. I'm pretty sure you will need a Certificate of Conformity which says your car was produced to European specification, or can pass the equivalent tests. I would advise speaking to Toyota in France to see if the vehicle is suitable for registering in France.
Hi CarTech, Thank you for your answer (and help). I found the address and phone number of Toyota dealer near me in France and I will contact them to ask about the Certificate of Conformity. Thank you again, D
