gears loose

reverse feels like it selects but the rest the gear stick is loose and wont select
any gears and on letting the clutch out its still in neutral?

Hi GuruY6K, sounds like a frustrating problem! I'm not quite sure from your description whether it's just reverse that has the problem or whether it's the forward gears as well? Perhaps you could clarify? If the forward gears work ok does the clutch bite at the top of its travel, and does it slip at all? If all is ok going forwards then I think the gear linkage bushes have probably collapsed. Let us know how you get on.
