why does the engine light come on and goes out when the spanner light comes on and vice versa
diagnostic tool wipes code p0130 or p0136 and spanner light comes on .
spanner light goes out and then engine management light comes on.
EGR valve replaced . lambdas replaces , crank censors replaced , coil pack
replaced, air inlet sensor replaced
Sounds like you've covered most bases! How does the engine perform... does it run ok? Were both lambdas replaced? Has all the wiring to the lambdas been checked? I have heard that problems with coolant temperature sensor can cause problems – if the ECU doesn't know how hot/cold then engine is it can throw up all sorts of odd faults. What does your garage say? (Assuming you've been using a garage to do the repairs)
Usually the cause of P0130 is a bad oxygen sensor, however this isn't always the case. If your o2 sensors haven't been replaced and they are old, it's a good bet that the sensor is the problem. But, It could be caused by any of the following: Water or corrosion in the connector Loose terminals in the connector Wiring burnt on exhaust components Open or short in the wiring due to rubbing on engine components Holes in exhaust allowing unmetered oxygen into exhaust system Unmetered vacuum leak at the engine Bad o2 sensor Bad PCM Read more at: https://www.obd-codes.com/p0130 Copyright OBD-Codes.com
A code P0136 may mean that one or more of the following has happened: Faulty O2 sensor leak in exhaust close to O2 sensor Short to voltage on O2 signal circuit Open in circuit resistance caused by corrosion in connector Read more at: https://www.obd-codes.com/p0136 Copyright OBD-Codes.com
