Only the Drivers door opens at all.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Manual VW Polo MATCH . Months ago only the front Drivers and passenger doors could be opened either by remote or manual. It has no progressed to only opening the Drivers front door.
Not sure what is involved in fixing the problem nor how expensive it maybe and if I need to go to a VW specialist. Please advise.

It could be a wiring problem in the A pillar where the wires do into the door. However, I think it's more likely to be a fault with individual door lock solonoids which I believe are integrated into the lock. I would take it to a vw specialist for diagnosis, but I have heard of it costing £250 a door to fix. Let us know how you get on
