abs light and speedo

i have an abs light on and i have no speedo.  i have changed front discs and
pads.  changed back shoes. cleaned everything i can see, tested abs sensors
with a meter, all read about the same. yet abs is still on and have no speedo.  
can you tell me where the speedo sensor is please, and is it conected to the
abs in any way. thanks

I'm pretty sure that in this generation Ka the ABS sensors act as the speedo sensor. The sensors send signals to the ECU and the ECU calculates road speed. If the ABS sensors are ok then I would think there is possibly a fault with the sensor wiring loom or the ABS module. It's worth double checking the ABS sensors though – have you done a diagnostic test to see if there any faults registered with them?
