i am interested in buying a used nissan leaf. can anyone tell me used leaf still covers by nissan battery warrenty(5 years or 60000 miles or 8 years or 100000 miles whicher ever comes first). thank you
Hi GuruZ1M, a used Nissan Leaf's battery will be covered by Nissan's warranty provided it has been serviced and looked after in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. This is from Nissan's website: "The Nissan LEAF's electric powertrain, including the battery, is covered for five years or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Choose a LEAF with the 30kWh battery pack and the cover specifically for capacity loss on the lithium-ion battery increases to eight years or 100,000 miles. This protects you against capacity loss of more than 25% – 9 out of the 12 bars displayed on your dashboard. Buy a Nissan LEAF and we’ll keep you driving well into the future."
