Used 2014 Volkswagen Polo for sale near Greater London

The Volkswagen Polo has been plying its trade in the small car market since way back in 1975, and the 2014 Polo represents the fifth generation of this super-successful supermini. It competes with plenty of other similarly sized and similarly successful cars such as the Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Corsa, Renault Clio and Peugeot 208, and the Volkswagen sits at the posher end of that spectrum, with a smartly conservative design, a relatively posh-feeling interior, a roomy cabin and decidedly grown-up driving manners thanks to impressive comfort and refinement. It’s not the most affordable car of its type, but it is arguably one of the most desirable.

Strengths:

Strong on comfort and refinement
High-quality interior
Desirable image

Weaknesses:

Not that well equipped as standard
Some key rivals more exciting to drive
Design could be too conservative for some

Is the 2014 Volkswagen Polo better than the 2014 Ford Fiesta?

Choosing between these two cars should actually be pretty easy. If you want your car to have a posh-feeling interior, a desirable image and a comfortable, grown-up, fuss-free driving experience, then the Polo is the car for you. If you want a little more flamboyance about the way your car looks and drives, then it’s the Fiesta every time.
