The 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC is part of a generation of the mid-sized premium SUV that was first introduced in 2015. It was Mercedes’ response to the growing popularity of mid-sized SUVs and intended to offer an alternative to the likes of the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Volvo XC60. As is often the case with Mercedes models, there’s an enormous variety of specs and trim levels, including petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid power, as well as powerful performance-focused versions from AMG. Whatever GLC model you’re looking at, though, it’s likely to be stylish, roomy and drive well – plus there’s the cachet of that famous bonnet badge.
