The staff were fine generally, there was no negtiation on price, apparently they don't have that capacity now so it was take it or leave it basically. They offered me poor money on my trade in, to be fair all dealers do in my experience, far better to sell through an online platform or privately if you can be bothered with the grief. Also, the deal had to be done before the end of the month, in this case less than a week, so realistically theres no way I could sold my existing car in that time frame. Bad luck in the time of the month I looked you could argue. That meant they just let me go to sell it to someone that could for the sake of getting the deal done that month, clearly their only significant driver in the sale. To be fair they're not alone in that either and buying from them gets a years Merc warranty if the car you're buying has full history. Obviously that's well worth having. Their finance deals were, as usual, uncompetitive compared to a personal bank loan.
