Overview

The 2018 Hyundai Tucson is the sort of car you will probably buy with your head rather than your heart, but your head will be pretty happy: the Tucson is spacious, has a big boot, delivers low running costs and should prove to be a reliable motoring companion. It’s not the most exciting car to drive, and the interior is a touch dull, but if you’re after a dependable family SUV that’s reliable and affordable to run, its ability top put a smile on your face on a winding road probably isn’t your top priority.
Strengths:
Lots of room for passengers and luggage
Long warranty
Good value for money
Weaknesses:
No better than average to drive
Dull interior design
Only the most powerful diesel has four-wheel drive
Is the 2018 Hyundai Tucson better than the 2018 Peugeot 3008
The 2018 Peugeot 3008 lacks some of the family-friendly spaciousness of the Hyundai Tucson, but it’s much more smartly styled inside and out, and feels rather more upmarket than the Tucson. The Hyundai will provide you with more peace of mind when it comes to reliability, however.

The basic model is just that. However, it provides a reasonably comfortable ride and good all-around vision. There is plenty of space for passengers and cargo or luggage. For the driver, there is plenty of space within easy reach for things and a good voice-controlled hands-free system. Very good for the price.
