The 2019 Kia Rio is an ideal supermini if you want a car that’s inexpensive, spacious, and goes about its business with the minimum of fuss. It’s not exactly the most excitingly styled car, and most of its rivals are more enjoyable to drive – especially the Ford Fiesta – but its competitive price, generous levels of standard equipment and standard seven-year/100,000-mile warranty make it very much a car that you can happily buy with your head, even if it won’t do all that much to tug at the strings of your heart.
