The appeal of the Range Rover Evoque, now in its second generation, is much the same as it ever was: provide all the style, luxury and desirability of bigger Range Rovers, but in a small, more affordable package. The 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque arguably does that better than any Evoque that’s gone before it. As part of the second-generation Evoque family, it has softer-edged driving manners more akin to the classic Range Rover experience, and there’s plenty of standard kit. This version of the car also benefitted from a 2021 facelift that improved the interior quality and infotainment technology.

Is the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque better than the 2022 BMW X3?

You could argue that the Evoque is arguably more stylish, and comes with more standard equipment, but in most other areas, we’d say that the BMW has the edge. It has superior performance and economy, delivers a better balance of ride and handling, it’s roomier, it’s more versatile and has a plusher cabin.
