The 2026 Audi A2 E-Tron is all-new, but it bears a strong resemblance to the original Audi A2 that was sold between 1999 and 2005. The images of the A2 E-Tron released so far show it wearing a special disguise wrap, but it’s clear that its curved roofline, two-part rear window, short bonnet and pronounced wheel arches are a clear nod to the first A2.

No maximum range figures have been announced, but we’d expect the smaller battery should provide just over 400 miles from a full charge. Audi quotes a maximum charging speed of 105kW, which it says will allow the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% capacity in 26 minutes.
