Asked by Dec 09, 2009 at 09:17 AM about the 2000 Vauxhall Vectra

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Got a lovely burning smell coming from the car when it's sitting in idle.

Recently it's had a fuel filter change, oil filter change, new fuel tank, new bushes on rear axle, 16 new valves, timing belt, and is going through oil like no one's business.

Any suggestions as to whats wrong with it this time?

This, and the engine management light is on, stays on. No loss of power though?
