What to check when injectors are not opening to allow petrol flow?

1 Answer

Hi there, I'm afraid there could be many reasons for this. It could be that the fuel pump is failing and can't supply enough fuel pressure to open the injectors. It could be that the fuel pump relay is faulty. It could be a blown fuse for the fuel pump. It could be the injectors themselves are faulty. It could be the ECU isn't sending the injectors the correct signal to open, or pulse open and closed. I think you should take the car to a VW specialist for some further diagnosis. Let us know how you get on and what the fault was! Cheers, Bob.
