What does the yellow light "HOLD" on the dash board mean?

This is a performance shift mode for the automatic transmission. It prevents the transmission from shifting into the highest gear. There should be a button near or on the shifter marked "hold". If so push it to return the transmission to normal operation. You'll get better gas mileage as well. HTH. -Jim
