What does the yellow light "HOLD" on the dash board mean?

This is a performance shift mode for the automatic transmission. It prevents the transmission from shifting into the highest gear. There should be a button near or on the shifter marked "hold". If so push it to return the transmission to normal operation. You'll get better gas mileage as well. HTH. -Jim

I change gear oil & the whole set of gear ( second hand). When i start the engine hold light disappear.After a little while it appears again. What must i do to make the hold light disappear?

Guys if mazda demio starts showing hold light the problem isn't with the gear oil, but it's fuel pump just buy a new fuel pump and replace it and onces you replace it problem is solved

AT light on on the dashboard has been on since November 2018. I have filled in transmission oil though. should that cause great concern?
