Green light with key on dash comes on when trying to start it it is a Honda cvr 's reg

It sounds like there is a problem with the vehicle's immobiliser system. Do you have more than one key? Have you tried the spare keys to see if the same fault occurs? It could be the chip in the key itself has gone bad, or the chip reader in the dash is at fault, or another part of the immobiliser system has developed a fault. If the car won't start I think you will need to get it taken to a Honda specialist or dealer for a full diagnosis. Good luck, and let us know if you get to the bottom of the problem.

It has started on three attempts over the past week but when u switch it off won't start again got key checked it's ok immobiliser reader maybe problem green key light flashing on when attempting to start car can't track down a immobiliser key reader for yr 2000
