VW POLO CLASSIC 1.6 MELENIUM 2000 MODEL
Hi XJS_42, it's virtually impossible to guide you through the replacement here, but if you're going to be working on the car you'd be well advised to get a workshop manual for the car. Haynes (www.haynes.com) do a manual for your car, both a printed version and online. It will definitely be worth you getting one and it will give you a step by step guide. Make sure you check the PAS pipes too as they have a reputation for splitting on Polos. I'm based in the UK so don't know the best place to buy parts in Johannesburg, but your local VW dealer would be a good place to start.
