Could do with a little more information here but I'd take it to your Kia dealer as car should be under warranty

Thanks for reply - Yes it was taken to dealer but computer test did not show any faults????? - waiting for final report. This is the fifth Sportage ( All Autos) we have had and never experienced this "Unintended Sudden Acceleration " before,. I note that most leading manufacturers have experienced this problem.

This does seem to be a fault that occurs a lot on the Sportage. If your dealer can't get to the bottom of it you should escalate the situation and complain to Kia UK.

Hi rakia, Interesting (our Kia was 2016 model AWD 2.0 Auto ). - we have complained to Kia - no surprise no fault found. We now have a 2017 model - same spec - but only done 150 miles yet. Any further information would be useful. Were your two cars Autos? - I ask this because a Manual would be more controllable than an Auto. Solution is you have to get it to neutral quick.
