Told dealer was definitely going to buy car, they didn't ask for a deposit, was almost there (an hour and a half drive to get there) for them to ring up and tell me car was sold. Could have rang for a deposit and asked if I was definitely going, but didn't. When I asked why they told me they were under no obligation to sell the vehicle to me. I totally understand that, but a bit of decency would be nice. Ask for a holding deposit or something like that. Was fuming.
