Had a 2001 manual petrol Honda CR-V for 19 years - Fantastic car. In the later models, the way the rear seats fold down means the rear storage space is significantly reduced. I have had to seek a more spacious alternative. This is my ONLY criticism. I retired my previous CR-V after 252,000 miles !!
I tried the 2 litre petrol automatic and it was fairly lifeless so I opted for the 2.2 litre diesel which has loads of power. A great driving position, lots of room, a large boot, big enough for a Greyhound! The top spec Ex has everything you could want and more. Menus are a bit fiddly and take some working out but thats a minor issue. Great view of the road, although the front A pillars obscure things a bit. Fuel economy is decent. Ive only had it a few days but so far Im chuffed with it!
