Used 2016 Jaguar XF for sale near Dundee

The original Jaguar XF came along in 2007 with the goal of taking the fight to established German executive saloons like the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class in a way that Jaguar never could with the frumpily styled S-Type saloon. It was successful on that score, being much more competitive, and in 2016, Jaguar looked to build on that success by introducing the second-generation XF. Perhaps most impressively, the XF was a better car to drive than any of its rivals, with a pliant ride, sharp handling and crisp steering. It was also roomy and practical, and well equipped. However, an iffy reliability record, dated powertrains and inferior cabin quality mean it’s been left behind a little by its rivals these days.

## Is the 2016 Jaguar XF better than the 2016 BMW 5 Series? If you love your driving, then yes, because the Jaguar is the sharpest, most agile-feeling car in the executive saloon (and estate) class. Having said that, the BMW is pretty darned good in that area as well, and it has an advantage over the Jaguar in several others, including quality, infotainment technology and reliability.
