Used 2021 Ford Ranger for sale near Stoke-on-trent

I fell in love with the Ford Ranger the moment I saw it & being retired accepted I’d never be able to afford a new one so set my heart on a 2021 model which had only done 12000 miles. The dealership were great & sent me a video of the truck that just reaffirmed I was buying a good vehicle. On the day I was due to go & test drive / buy it my wife was sorting out the insurance & road tax which made us stop in our tracks! I’m a 62yr old retired builder with 9yrs no claims & they wanted £782:00 to insure it & the road tax was £300+ which I thought was insane! I accepted the fact it would be a bit juicier than the Volvo V70 we currently own, but just couldn’t justify forking out over a £1000 annually to keep it on the road, the Volvo V70 insurance is only £355:00 a year. Unfortunately we didn’t buy the truck, but two days later it was sold confirming that it was a great truck at a great price.
