Its makers hope this little vehicle will simultaneously steal sales from more expensive electric cars, and at the same time revolutionise how we think about urban mobility. In reality, for most people a motorbike, moped, or even an electric scooter will be both cheaper and more convenient for cutting through inner-city traffic, but the Ami still has plenty of character and charm.
