Used Citroen C1 for sale near Glenrothes
Citroen C1 Review (2014-2020)
The second generation of the nippy little Citroen C1 carries on where the first generation left off: an urban-friendly city car that shares its mechanical bits with the Toyota Aygo and Peugeot 108. However, this time there’s also a version with a roll-back roof for open-topped driving, while early cars also had two engine options for buyers to choose from.

(12 reviews)Just love this car, cannot fault it. Cheap road tax and insurance, very good on fuel.
Didnt think Id be able to afford a Citroen C1 Flair so was really pleased when I found this car in my price bracket. Its a smart looking car inside and out. Having never driven anything less than a 1.4 engine I was apprehensive about dropping to a 999cc. I no longer need to do regular long distance motorway driving but this little car doesnt struggle when accelerating upto 70 miles per hour ( foot not hard to floor and felt it could easily gone past 70 without any effort). Its a more comfortable ride than I expected for a small car and its nippy. Yes it does have a bit of a roar when pulling away in 1st . Its Toyota engine has 3 cylinders so perhaps that accounts for the roar . Pulls away better in 2nd. Like the fact its a chain as against cambelt - no expensive repairs. The front seats are roomy whilst the back a little neat but enough for my needs and to fit 2 grandchildren in. Whilst the boot is small and compact . Generally , I wont be transporting rear passengers often ( apart from the dog ) so big enough for my needs. The rear seats split and fold flat when need extra space. Excellent features in the Flair and park assist is useful. Very good qualityAudio system and display screen. Good connection for telephone calls( only gripe is cant seem to transfer my phone contacts??? ). As I havent owned it for long Ive given it 4 stars as unable to comment on economics of running the car but if the specs prove to be true etc... may well rate 5 in future.
A great little car for short journeys, cheap to run and fun to drive
The C1 us a very good vehicle excellent value for money and very economical from fuel to insurance and maintenance, although some models are basic but this shouldnt detract from its good points.
Noisy, tinny and terrible suspension but good fuel economy
