The Ford Transit Custom is the UK’s best-selling van, and with good reason. Ford took the core ethos of its passenger cars – sharp handling – and applied it to a highly versatile commercial vehicle with a car-like interior. It’s available in three different lengths and heights and with a multitude of body styles; competition comes from the Volkswagen Transporter and the Mercedes Sprinter, but neither comes close in the sales charts. The Transit goes back to 1965, and smaller and larger models bearing the nameplate are available, but the medium-sized Transit Custom, launched in 2012, is the best all-rounder. Loads of excellent features that are well worth having if you like driving in comfort. Cruise control , night lights( day driving lights!)Controls very accessible, some on steering wheel. Good and comfortable driving position. Good van but make sure it’s well secure because you won’t be the only one who likes it!!!
All round spacious van does what it says on the tin great comfort all round a good vehicle ford have got this one right.
Most comfortable van to drive. Cabin area is intellectually layered
Thought extremely good value, only had a test drive so far but very happy, collect my new Transit on the 8th January
