The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is a large panel van, the largest offered by the German company, sitting above the Citan and Vito in the firm’s range of light commercial vehicles. It was first introduced in 1995 as a replacement for the T1 Transporter, and was itself replaced by the second-generation Sprinter in 2006. The second-generation lasted even longer, serving until 2018 before being replaced by the third-generation Sprinter, which remains on sale today.
