The NV200 Combi SE is an excellent car to modify to a campervan. Low maintenance and insurance makes it even more attractive.

You could argue that the Nissan NV200 is a vehicle with something of an identity crisis. It was first introduced in 2009. At its heart, it’s a small panel van, in similar mould to the VW Caddy or Renault Kangoo, and it’s also offered as a passenger car with windows and seats, known as both the Combi or the Evalia (confusing, right?). At one time, it was one of the cheapest seven-seater cars you could buy. Early examples were offered with both petrol and diesel engines, but by the time it went off sale in 2023 - having been replaced by the Townstar - it was only available as the all-electric e-NV200.
