Probably a good car but 1.5 td before 2023 suffers from weak cam to cam engine chain ( separate to main belt drive) this can snap leading to new engine. Same as Citroen Berlingo but Citroen acknowledge the issue, vauxhall dont.

The Combo Life has a large rear storage area which is ideal for transporting my golf buggy and equipment. It is more like driving a small mini-bus than a car but is extremely comfortable and handles very well. The features are too many to list but many of them one would only expect to find in a much more expensive vehicle .

Perfect for what I need, either as a crew bus or with the seats out using it to move stuff around like a van. Zippy petrol engine that should be cheap to run and be clear of any diesel bashing in the next budget.

The Vauxhall Combo is a small panel van that’s been around since 1993, but the Combo Life didn’t appear until 2018. The Combo Life is essentially a version of the van that’s fitted with windows and seats, turning it into an extremely roomy passenger car. And because Vauxhall is part of the same group of companies as Peugeot and Citroen, it’s very similar mechanically to the Rifter and Berlingo, respectively. It comes in two lengths, standard and XL, with five seats in the former and seven in the latter. It was initially sold with combustion engines, but since 2022, it’s only been available as an all-electric car.
