Whereas so many cheap cars feels exactly that, the cleverly-designed and thoroughly well-engineered Up gives the impression of being bigger and more expensive than it really is. Apart from being fun to drive – particularly the feisty GTI model – the Up is also safe, economical and relatively practical for such a tiny machine. And you can even have an all-electric one.

The vehicle is really good and value for money. I would have preferred a proper sat - nav which I thought it had , but there is a bracket to put your own I - phone for the sat- Nat. Apart from that the car is very smart and exactly what I needed.
