The Volvo EX30 is a compact electric family car that offers a Tesla-style user interface, unmistakably Volvo-esque interior materials, clever interior design, a tidy driving experience and strong performance at a reasonable price. But, some longer-range models bust the £40,000 barrier, so aren’t the ‘cheap’ option that the entry price suggests, and the touchscreen can be frustrating.
