The Seat Leon Cupra 290 is a fast hot-hatch version of the Spanish company's third-generation family hatchback. When the Mk3 Leon Cupra was first launched in 2014, it had 265 horsepower from its turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine, but a 280 horsepower version soon followed. In 2015, power was hiked to 290 horsepower, hence the Cupra 290 name, and the 290 was itself then replaced in 2017 by the Cupra 300, which had - you guessed it - 300 horsepower.
