The BMW 5 Series M5 Competition is an enhanced version of BMW's high-performance luxury saloon, based on the seventh-generation G30 5-Series range. It features a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 616bhp, which is a 24bhp hike over the 'standard' M5 that it would eventually replace. It also rides 8mm lower to the ground on stiffened and recalibrated adaptive suspension. It has an eight-speed automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive.
