Its handsome styling is perhaps the first-generation Audi A5’s biggest selling point, but beneath the skin there’s more to love, from its slick interior to its smooth, relatively economical engines. It isn’t the most spacious car of its type, nor the most sporty to drive – but if that’s OK with you, it’s well worth a look.

2009 A5 S-Line 3.0TDI Quattro Absolute beast of a car. Handles incredibly well for its size and has no issues with getting you to the speed limit in very little time. Huge boot which is only held back by the small tailgate on the Coupe. Averages around 40mpg on motorway runs and around 34mpg on short journeys but the smiles you get from it on the way make up for that. A serious car for serious torque lovers, would definitely recommend.
