The Bentley Continental impresses across model years with its luxurious comfort, striking appearance, and remarkable performance. Owners frequently mention the smooth drive and elegant design, making it a favorite for long-distance travel. However, some have raised concerns about the navigation system and fuel economy, noting that while the car excels in many areas, it may not be the most eco-friendly choice. Overall, the Bentley Continental stands out for its combination of style and power, often being described as a beautifully crafted machine that delivers a premium driving experience.

The 2015 Bentley continental is unmatched. So much of the car is hand built. The leather upholstery is hand stitched by 120 skilled women in the factory, the woodwork is similarly cut, shaped and finished by hand. The car weighs in excess of 1.75 tonnes yet can top 200mph!

If you want the ultimate G.T. car look no further than the Bentley Continental with a range of 2 engines the 4lt V8 which suits the car well. If for the most of the time your stuck in city driving or your cruising on a motorway its a brilliant balanced car. But if you want the extra power and can understand how brilliantly engineered the 6lt W12 engine is then this is the power plant you want in your car. If your going to cruise Europe this will cruise all the motorways including the autobahn,s if Germany brilliantly. Also the safety features on this car are amazing. Traffic warning if your in a blind spot alarms, collision avoidance. The reversing camera but Bentley took it further by giving 360 warning making parallel parking easy. The ability to view the satnav in the instrument cluster as well as the main screen. The night vision to make driving on unlit roads safer. There are so many please read all the information on these cars and if you dont understand anything ask the sales person. They are so helpful. As for the seats and Interior the quality of craftsmanship is incredible. The air suspension that adjusts its self and will even raise the car to avoid an obstacle in the road. These qualities are not found on other cars some come close. But if you want comfort and quality. Also to feel a car that helps you avoid collisions then you wont find a better car than the BENTLEY CONTINENTAL.

Its a lovely car and the something that I would love to own when the time is right. The exterior and interior colors are great and a wonderful change from the boring grey, silver, black or white that most of these seem to be in. A truly prestigious motor car with all the refinements you would expect from a Bentley. A bit of a pity it doesnt have a sun roof though!

Bentley Continental (2018-present) Pros and Cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| A huge advance over its predecessor | Such class and quality come at a price |
| Amazing blend of agility and continent-crossing comfort | Extremely high running costs |
| Opulent interior is truly luxurious | A Ferrari 812 Superfast is more exciting to drive |
Quick Summary
The Bentley Continental (2018-present) represents a significant leap forward from its predecessor, sharing its platform with the Porsche Panamera rather than the Volkswagen Phaeton. This new foundation allows the Continental GT to masterfully balance the dynamism of a sports car with the cosseting luxury of a grand tourer. Available with either a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 or a 6.0-litre W12 engine, the Continental GT delivers exceptional performance, with the W12 capable of reaching 207mph. The relocation of the engine further back in the chassis improves weight distribution, resulting in a car that is more agile and responsive than ever before.
The Continental GT excels as a practical grand tourer, offering a spacious 358-litre boot and comfortable rear seating for two adults or child seats. The cabin is opulently appointed with premium materials, hand-stitched leather, and an extensive suite of technology including a 12.3-inch infotainment system, satellite navigation, and Apple CarPlay. However, ownership comes with substantial running costs, including fuel consumption of around 19-24mpg, expensive tyre replacements, high Vehicle Excise Duty, and servicing costs ranging from £799 to £1,910. Despite these expenses, the Continental GT remains one of the most brilliantly executed grand tourers available today.
Best for: Buyers seeking the ultimate balance of performance and luxury, those who value continent-crossing comfort with genuine driving engagement, and owners unconcerned by substantial running costs.
Not ideal for: Budget-conscious buyers, those prioritising outright handling excitement over comfort, or drivers seeking lower fuel consumption and maintenance expenses.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bentley Continental | 4/5 | 4.4/5 | 36.8% | 4.3/5 |
| Mercedes-Benz A-Class | 3/5 | 4.4/5 | 36.8% | 4.2/5 |

| Aston Martin DB11 | 4/5 | 5.0/5 | 31.6% | 4.1/5 |
The Verdict
You should buy the Continental if: You seek the ultimate balance of performance and luxury, value continent-crossing comfort with genuine driving engagement, and are unconcerned by substantial running costs.
Consider alternatives if: You are budget-conscious, prioritise outright handling excitement over comfort, or require lower fuel consumption and maintenance expenses.
Competitive Position: The Bentley Continental (2018-present) stands as the most rounded grand tourer available today. Whilst the Aston Martin DB11 offers sharper handling and the Ferrari 812 Superfast provides greater excitement, the Continental GT uniquely masters the balance between agility and continent-crossing comfort. Its opulent interior and advanced technology suite are unmatched in its class. However, prospective buyers must accept the reality of substantial running costs and the impact of strong sales on resale values. For those prepared for these considerations, the Continental GT represents one of the most brilliantly executed cars on sale today.
