Citroen Berlingo 2026 review | A no-nonsense, van-based people carrier
Refreshed in 2023, the Citroen Berlingo feels like one of the most honest cars on sale today, making no bones about its true purpose and commercial roots. It’s an MPV or people carrier, if we have to classify it, and available in both five- and seven-seat versions.
Although there is now a fully electric e-Berlingo, the petrol and diesel models are certainly worth considering if you’re looking for a new, massively practical mode of transport for the whole family.
If you want performance, go elsewhere. If you want a super-confident SUV design, keep on searching. But if you’re in the market for a no-nonsense family workhorse, few are more down-to-earth than the Citroen Berlingo.

(3 reviews)This car is very nice indeed, but it would be better if the back seats could be removed completely. My previous Berlingo, the back seats could be taken out, completely and easily, so it could be used as a van.
Great car. Economical. Carries full spare wheel. Easy to navigate menu
Nothing is missing. I have traded in a Berlingo Multispace, but this car is even very slightly bigger. !! If i can fault it, it is only the problem of not being able to remove the back seat, behind the driver. Ideally I need to remove this seat, as I only need one/two seats in the back and the space is better used for putting a (dog cage)crate on the flat area when the seat was removed in the multispace.
