Honda’s third-generation HR-V was launched in 2021, a hybrid contender in a very busy marketplace. Since then the HR-V has been given a facelift, aimed at keeping it in contention as ever more small SUVs fight for the attention of potential customers. The HR-V is loaded with plenty of standard technology, it’s nice to look at and is reasonable to drive. However, there is nothing – apart from its clever folding rear ‘Magic Seats’ – that should really push the HR-V to the top of your shopping list.
