Lexus is the king of petrol-electric hybrid technology and the IS 300h (often simply referred to as the IS) was an interesting option in a sector once dominated by diesels. Although some of the driving aspects won’t be to everyone’s taste – predominately because of the standard automatic CVT transmission – the IS has many positives.
