MINI Hatch R56 Review (2008-2012)
This is the second generation of the revamped MINI, a modern interpretation of an iconic British design. It’s not style over substance, though, because the MINI backs up its quirky looks with an excellent driving experience and a range of engines and models to suit different requirements. It can be prone to mechanical gremlins, so a careful choice of used car is crucial, but get a good one and you’ll have a wonderful time.

(19 reviews)The car was lovely unfortunately the weather was awful with snow so a road test was not available. The only thing that was not to our liking was the drivers seat the leather was wrinkled. We will try to make another viewing.
Very Good value for money, came as described and seller could not be helpful enough. Looks and drives excellent certainly value for money in my book.

Almost in a class of one - either you want one of these, or you dont! They drive so well and the more powerful S models are so much fun. They evolve rather than drop new models so the older ones still appear quite fresh too. Some quirkiness with the dashboard and switchgear makes any aftermarket upgrades a chore, but overall a nicely-built fun small car. If you dont have a big family or a lot of clobber then these can really put a smile on your face.
