Perpetual premium under-achiever Maserati finally added a high-riding SUV to its line-up in 2017, and the introduction of the Levante saw the Bolognese manufacturer’s production lines having to double their output to keep up with demand. That initial demand sated, the Levante has still managed to contribute to much greater sales for Maserati, but it remains a rare sight in the UK, which to some folk, is undoubtedly a large part of its appeal.
