Mazda MX-5 Mk1 Review (1990-1997)
The world’s best-selling convertible sports car, the first-generation Mazda MX-5 (or Mazda Eunos in Japan, Miata in the USA) is small, nimble, light and an absolute blast to drive. It isn’t especially fast, but the MX-5’s engaging character makes every journey an event, while the simplicity of its hood mechanism means that it’s easy to enjoy open-air motoring. A modern classic car, this is where to look if you want fun behind the wheel for very little money.
